Order form

The transaction document

A document recording the specific products, scope, pricing, term and other details of an order. It connects the broader contractual framework to what this customer is actually buying.

An example

An order form specifies 100 licences, S$60,000 annual fees, a two-year term and annual invoicing. It references the applicable MSA and records an approved change to payment timing.

What to check

Check that its final terms match the approved version and that any differences from the governing agreement are understood.

In practice

Reconcile the final order against the approved quote and any conditions attached to approval. A correct price is not enough if quantities, dates, entities or non-standard commitments have changed.
